The purpose of this blog began as a class assignment. It aided me in becoming more in tune with what was going on in the world of business. However, as a business major its purpose now is not only to assist in keeping me abreast of current & interesting business happenings but also as a review tool during and hopefully beyond my academic career.
Victoria's Secret is a private entity (shares not made available to the public). There are different reasons a company may choose to remain private a few of which are the costs and time involved in the transition from private to public, loss of confidentiality, flexibility and control.
