SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - June has arrived and for Apple Inc (AAPL.O) fans and investors that means just one thing -- a new iPhone. The encore to the original iPhone, which launched nearly a year ago amid unprecedented industry buzz, is widely expected to be the main attraction when Chief Executive Steve Jobs takes the stage at Apple's developers' conference on Monday.

At Christmas this should be at about $149.00, getting very close to a sweet spot. Imagine having paid the full price for the slower less technically advanced version.
I know...slaves to technology. I guess it's a cool phone but it doesn't excite me at all.
It makes no sense having a phone like that and not being able to afford all the available features. I wonder what the average monthly bill is for such a high tech phone.
